Note Cards made for other Publishers
Praise from ones peers is perhaps the highest. We are very proud to have designed and printed items for other publishers. We were told that it is much more efficient to ask us to work on these projects than for themselves to go through the trials of reinventing the wheel as it were.
Both the New York Times and the Boston Globe have retail stores where the sets of Note Cards, featuring amazing images taken by their photographers over the years, were sold. Each of the sets had 10 cards, 2 each of 5 images and the envelopes for them.
For the Hearst magazine Victoria, we designed a packet of cards that held post cards and note cards with envelopes. The request was that we used the same paper stock that the artist had used when she painted the watercolor paintings. This presented many technical difficulties but the result was wonderful.
