The two images that are found in this blank card set are examples of the decorative and ornamental cartouches that adorn this manuscript. The Book of Blessings (Seder Berkkot) is from Vienna and was produced in 1724.
Most people will recognize the Hebrew word for Blessing and it makes a lovely card to send at any time. The second, shows a basket of flowers. Both cards are blank inside and come with envelopes. Card size is 5.5"x 3.5".
Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies in Chicago hosted an exhibition of the work of American Jewish Artists for which KHP made these cards. The cards may not be to everyones liking but they open a door to discussion.
The cards are in a satin matte finish as is the gift wallet they come in. There are 10 cards (2 each of 5 works) with envelopes to fit. Card size is 6" x 4.25".
We have a very limited number available through our Sales area.
