Selling to NonProfit Orgs

Charities Support

This is an Open Letter to our
Corporate Clients and to those Members of the Public
who wish to increase the value of their civic and charitable contributions.

The aid and support of worthwhile non profit organizations is a principle long held by most. We do not wish to ask any of our customers or clients to make a contribution to one organization over another. All non profit organizations that are well run deserve whatever help people are willing to give in supporting the efforts of the particular group in these difficult times.

What we are attempting to do here is show how your financial support may be multiplied two or three times at no extra cost to yourself and provide your chosen beneficiary organization with additional funding.

Our solution is simple. Nearly every group sells items to raise much needed funds. Most will have seen the efforts of Public Television who raise a great deal of money from the contributions of their viewers. To encourage the generosity of their viewers PBS offers various incentives that are given in accordance with the viewers donation. Yet one must understand that these incentives, for the most part, have to be paid for out of the funds raised.

A museum has a gift shop where the profits of the sale of merchandise goes to support the acquisition of art work, support the museum's educational efforts and for the upkeep of the institution.

Even the packets of note cards sent to you by your favorite charity, have to be paid for from the donations.

While there are generous benefactors who can make large donations, it is the daily efforts of so many that really are the backbone of most organization. Remember, it is only the profit after the expenses that goes to the organization. Therefore, the ideal is to eliminate or reduce the expenses associated with the item being sold or given.

When you make a donation, wouldn't you like to know that your contribution actually went to a specific project where it grew and became several time greater. Your contribution is able to ultimately have the same effect as those able to offer much more than you. By sponsoring a product that will be then sold at a profit, you are proactively ensuring the success of the particular venture.

In many cases the organization is happy to express their thanks for your support with a mention on the item. In some circumstances they offer you a portion of project for your own use.

Your contribution is made to the organization which will give a receipt for tax purposes.

KHP works with hundreds of non profit clients and is in no way suggesting one over another. We invite you to let us know your interest in supporting any organization and we will do our utmost to make a growing donation match for you with your chosen group.

If you would like to discuss this with the President of KHP please send an Email to D.Butterfield@4khp.com

KHP is offering this donation matching as a service to our non-profit clients. KHP does not solicit or handle funds for any specific organization but acts only as liaison, using our marketing and product development expertise for the benefit of the parties involved.
