Blank Journals

We at KHP often get requests for Journals or Blank Books and while the object of our company is to provide our clients with what they desire, we believe that our experience should be offered to our clients. For any book, if the subject interests the buyer they may purchase it but what about the Blank or Fill-In book.  A pretty or interesting cover and then blank or lined pages....  "What do I do with this"?   A book with blank pages is intimidating to many, yet by suggesting a title for the book the user is focused and has no hesitation in using it. For example, a lined journal with the tile “Dream Journal”, the buyer will feel at ease writing their thoughts and aspirations. It is our belief that all blank book products clearly state a suggested purpose. There are literally thousands of titles one can place on a "Blank Book" and so we ask who you are and what do you expect will be written in your book and now you have a journal with a purpose.

Cloth-covered Journals

These three blank journals were made for the Rubin Museum of Art. The covers are in black cloth over a hard cover case-bound book. Each of the books has a silk matte lamination to protect the central art work. The end-papers are illustrated with a black on black design with the front including book plates. On the back end-papers details of the art work used for each book is incorporated into the design. There is a black ribbon material bookmark affixed to the reinforced binding of the quality blank pages.

Sized at 6.25"x7.25"  The books are available from the museum directly you will find a link on our Contact & Info. page.

Dahesh Museum of Art

With about a 100 pages the main difference is between the two books should be the choice of paper stock. The open Wire-O binding enables the book to fold back and be used like a pad. Size of the book is 6"x8.5" Both book covers have a matte laminate covering for protection.

Perchance To Dream Journal
Perchance To Dream

The relaxed Sleeping Beauty image is so appropriate for a Journal in which to write your dreams, aspirations and personal musings. The case bound book has a silky matte lamination to protect the book cover. Inside, the quality lined pages, with date space, are easily found as a matching ribbon booker is incorporated into the binding.

Renoir's Luncheon of the Boating Party

Probably one of the artist's best known works It's home is in the Phillips Collection in Washinton D.C. KHP was pleased to work with the museum in producing a number of products with this image. This lined journal has 120 pages easily found with the ribbon marker. The vibrant red end-papers even has a book plate incorporated on the front set.  Another thing to mention is that when KHP Museum & Custom Publishing uses a detail of a painting, following the museum standards for publishing, we place a view of the full painting on the product also with the official museum caption.

The book has a size of 8.75"x7".

We do have a limited number of these books available which you can order from our Sales area.

Unlined Journal

The beautiful Dutch Floral Still Life pops off the painting's background which is continued as the elegant glossy black cover of the book. With deep red end-papers and creamy white matte pages, this is a lovely book to either write or sketch in. The case bound book, with KHP's fully sewn pages allows the book cover to be virtually folded back on itself without damage or lose of pages. Sized at 7"x 8.5" with 120 pages, this has been a very popular book for the museum it was made.

Desk Note Books

This three ladies graced the covers of a group of book produced for the National Portrait Gallery. Each book had 112 pages and attractive end-papers. The hard covered case bound, sewn book has a size of 9.5x6.75" and provides a lasting place for those jottings one makes daily. Truth be told the webmaster is using one as this site is being constructed.

Pocket Note Books
Pocket Note Books

Over the years we have made hundreds of different versions of these books. They are an inexpensive pocket book that have a million uses. As a retail item in any store they are a pick-up item as an extra by the cash area, yet they are often a focal point with the image being of the lead painting or item in an exhibition. People love to make notes as they tour the exhibit or for that matter just when they "tour" anywhere.

Usually left blank, these 32 page saddle stitched books have an illustrated laminated "card stock" cover. The most popular size is 6"x4", yet we are very ready to make other sizes for our clients.
